What's the worse peice of shit you ever parted money for? It's Time to spill the beans You might feel better...Or at the very least save us some money from following in your footsteps For the record..steer clear of Autozone wrenches.. You would have more chance at removing the bolt using a flaccid penis.
HD XL1200R, too much fixin and too many $$$. Wouldn't do the dirt roads that I wanted to do, so I went with the KLR.
Ordered a pair of x-Ray specs from the back of a spiderman comic book got them and I still couldnt see any t ,a, or bones. I was pissed 2.95 + .50 s&h for what. Dont buy these take my advise. JD
1. Bought an electric pressure washer for about $150, caught on fire and melted into a ball. 2. VW diesel rabbit.
Yeah, pretty much anything more complicated than a solid piece of metal such as a socket or an extension from Harbor Freight is roughly equivalent to a giant "kick me in the nuts" sign on yer groin. The biggest POS ---- a Harbor Fright hydraulic press. I used it a couple of times and it literally blew a seal, spewing staaaaanky hyd. oil all over my shop floor. Whatever they use in it doesn't smell like "normal" hyd. oil.... something like a cross between moldy sox and rancid butter. Bike related... probably cheap gloves. The most memorable ones were the blue/white Olympia ones that I had to buy at the track because I FORGOT my nice Held gloves. Instantly down-graded them to street use, and every time my hands sweated, they turned blue. I gave them away.
engagement ring, was so pissed I told her to keep it. But then again I'm a dumbass. Friday I took this smokin' chick out on a date, bill came out to like $150, she can drink like a fish. Was one of the most expensive lays I've ever had, save for the engagement ring.
Any textile crap from Joe Rocket.. especially the 5.0 pants... like wearing trashbags that leak!!!! K2 skis after they went China..
Expensive Touratech $%$^%^ folding gear lever. The folding front bit fell off on the first dirt ride it went on and it chose a particularly steep rocky hill just west of no where to leave me without gear selection. I now boycott Touratech products.
Those little plastic gizmos with the brushes that are supposed make cleaning your chain easy. What a joke!
bike-related: Tourmaster/Cortech Decker leather pants. Very poor quality stitching. I would not expect these pants to stay together in a crash. Now looking at Vanson pants (should have done that in the first place). worst consumer product that I've EVER purchased: 1999 VW Golf IV Friends don't let friends buy Volkswagens.
Smith goggles. I bought a pair and a couple of extra lenses. Well, the light-sensitive lenses weren't, and the tint on the Sol-X lens actually bleeds off. According to their customer service, these aren't considered defects. Never again, I don't want something so shoddy protecting my eyes.
