Well, I hate to admit that my google-fu is this weak, but I cannot find any good campground info on the Buffalo River in Arkansas. I guess I'm used to Missouri's park system that lets you reserve, pick and look at individual campsites over the interwebs.

I am looking for 3 campsites for a largish family gathering in May. We want to come down the Buffalo River for some non motorcycle type fun. I know, crazy talk. But I digress.

Where do you FF's recommend we stay? Got any contact info?

I'm a needy bastard, but it's only because my wife tells me to be.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the pointers. Do you know if either campsite has shower facilities? I personally don't care, but the wimminz like to be all clean and smell like lavender.

Steel Creek and Kyle's landing a little further up the river from those. Best float on the Buffalo starts at Ponca.:freaky

Erbie. Hwy 7 north of Jasper a few miles, then left on a forest road about another 5 or so miles. Just follow the signs.
Jump in the river to bath.
