What heated vest or coat do you use and how do you like it? Aerostich, Gerbings, homemade?

Warm n safe GEn 4 WP. Buy the best once. Until, Mike updates the design, then you can trade up:lol3:lol3:lol3 This one is so close to perfect. The only thing its missing is a zipper garage at your neck. Not sure why that isn't there. That zipper can be rough on your neck.

Don't forget the advrider coupon code at check out.

Gerbings microwire now, the regular gerbings 3 years ago. The new microwire stuff is much nicer.

I have the Gerbings & they are great. The jacket liner is nice vs the vest because you have heat on your arms & don't have to run wires for gloves, they are already there in the liner

First heated vest I tried was 1998 model Widder, well worn, still have it.
Aerostich is a grade better, and is my first choice.

Warm safe here, too. Just went from the Gen 4 to the WP liner. You can't beat their pricing or customer service.

Gerbings liner and G3 gloves still working good after many years. Get a long sleeve liner, not a vest....

Another +1 for the gerbing. The jacket liner being pre-wired for gloves is really, really nice.

The Gerbing is what W&S made 3 years ago. Pre-wired for gloves was introduced by W&S about 5 years ago.

Really nice. It should be, because Gerbing relied on W&S's marketing for several years before copying it.

I be had gerbings for years almost 10 I think . The best advice I was given when I wanted a heated vest " Jeff I ve never been in a situation where I wanted my arms to cold ." bought everything even socks ! One bit of advice make sure your outer layer is wind proof . By the controller vs on/ off switch get a dual controller want your gloves or feet warmer crank them up !

I use the powerlet jacket, glove liners and controller. They are great quality and like everyone says, you'll wonder why you froze your ass off for so long before buying heated gear. I've ridden into to 20's with no discomfort.

Out of curiosity, since I am looking for some heated gear for myself.

I completely agree that you might regret getting the heated vest instead of the heated jacket, but you won't regret getting the heated jacket.

I have the Firstgear jacket and gloves.

I have been using Tourmaster heated gear for four years now and would recommend them as a great alternative to the other gear mentioned. A plus is they come with all the wiring and dual controllers something you usually pay extra for on the others.

I have a Gerbings jacket liner and T5 Gloves with a Firstgear/Warm and Safe wireless controller. The lifetime electrical warranty that Gerbings has is comforting.
After reading a few things between W/S and Gerbings, I might have went with W/S .
I'm not a fan of people screwing others over.
When/if replacements are necessary, I will call the owner of W/S before I purchase.
I've been waiting for Gerbings Extreme gear, but been put off too long.

Another Warm N Safe Gen 4 Waterproof jacket with wireless remote and WnS Ultimate Tour gloves :clap

I just traded up from the Gen 3 to the WP. Tried it out last night in the garage and it does heat up a lot faster then the old versions. You cannot beat the customer service either.

I may have left some money on the table not using the ADV code, I don't know what it is, anybody care to tell me :ear
