My '79 KM100 minicycle. I wanted one as a kid so I bought this one when I was about 48. Not used much anymore but still fires on 1st lick. I think I might take it down my icy driveway in a minute. It might not survive this spring's selloff.

Oh yeah, I also bought an old used Rockwell drill press from a cabinet shop about 25 years ago. No idea how old it is. I use it to make SteverStoves on, sell them to all you FF's, then buy beer with the money. :1drink To make more stoves with the empties.

    Circle of life.

Oh good call. I also have a very old cast iron skillet that is at least grandma age. It's a prized possession, as i use it nearly daily, and it would be difficult to replace. years of use/seasoning have given it near perfect patina, which is better than non-stick. I've tried new iron, and it just doesn't have the same finish.

When I saw this, my first thought was, "that guy's a surveyor." I checked your profile - yep. I'm a PLS too and I still use my 41CX that I bought in college in 1985. I have the survey pack and math pack too. I remember paying $425 for it. It was my first-ever credit card purchase. I use it nearly every day. A few years ago, I got an old 41CV for a back-up.

My bike is 36 years old, it's my primary scoot. My car is 46 years old but I don't drive it in the winter. I know I have pics of my shovel on here somewhere, I'll see if I can post a pic in here.

Weston Master II light meter. Built in 1945 and still works. Had the selenium cell replaced and meter calibrated a couple years ago.

1950s western saddle. No maker's mark, unfortunately. Just "404". I've owned it since 1979 and still use it!

We have a Coleman lantern that dates back to the late 40's.
Have a pair of Vasque Whitney II hiking boots circa 1973.

This is a 1970 Ariens, but it has a newer engine.

I still use the Coleman stove from the '60s. It came in really handy when the '89 Loma Preita earthquake happened and the power was out for several hours. I was able to feed my scared and hungry kids. Looks like this one.

So, I inherited that from my dad and decided to do some repairs one summer - which led to a from-the-bolts-up restoration.

So then, I gave it to my brother and restored this:a 1990's ST824.

But the snow is really heavy and wet in Boston, so now I have an 11.5hp Ariens Pro.

I had to restore the Ariens, because how could you throw away a machine that has a hub cap like this.
