A thread to post pics of bikes you regret ever selling. I'm thinking it will help with the grief to know that others sold bikes only to find it was really done for a quick buck or to get your wife off your back. I'll start. I miss my XR500L and Triumph Scrambler. Two beauties in their own way.

I've sold many bikes, but only miss the most recent sale....my 2002 1150GS.
Had it setup to where it was perfect for me. It was/is an incredible bike.

I'm now slowly morphing the 1200ADV to fit like the 1150 did.

Nothing like that bike you get dialed in just right. The 1150's were beautiful machines.

The only bike I regret was my 2000 1150gs that I bought new in 2000. Traded it for an RT, just because I was bored. I had it set up perfect for my type of riding :cry

I sold this fully restored R100GSPD and have regretted it ever since, at least it went to a good home.

    My 're-entry' bike. W650.

I couldn't find a crappier picture. Had wanted something a bit more long-legged for traveling.

Back then it was a one bike home but the moment I saw these three together I realized I had MBS and sooner or later they or some version of them would all be in my garage.

That RTP was a great bike as well. I only regret selling that one in the winter. Great weather protection and heat. Not my KLR but of the three there's still a KLR hanging around here.

I miss this one a lot:

And this one was sold when i left the US - another 2002 1150. Should have kept it in storage...

And this is the other one I sold when I moved. Only had it a year, only bike i ever bought brand new. When i bought it I decided I would spend the money and buy all the things i wanted to get it just right - and then sold it. That hurt. Should have kept it in storage too...

How could I forget this one? I bought this because it was a replica of my first bike ever. I kept it a year and I think just got an itch one day to sell it. That was just ignorant. She was a pretty little bike.

I sold this beauty to finance my next bike...regretted selling an appreciating asset for a depreciating one, but love my new bike as well!

The 1150 ADV will always have "Classic" appeal. They're simply incredible bikes. I do miss mine.
