It started on Monday and we are now waiting for materials that were ordered long ago.

Building using Sustainable materials. A local TV person would like to film the whole build. So, here we go. My goal is to host Airhead tech day in October.

    14 ' ceiling ht.

Monday morning.. 6AM truck with 3 guys throw steel bar down to the ground.
Dog is going crazy, wants out to bark and do her job protecting the house.

We will have inspections in the morning and the electrical company was out to ground the building to the foundation. (REALLY THEY CAME OUT TO GET THE FIRST DRAW)

A truck full of block was suppose to be here today and that should fill
the yard up with construction material. Omniblock Wall Construction http://www.omniblock.com/wall-construction/

The steel and stems are finish for the day. Look how wide the footers are. This type of soil has a bit of slippage. The soil (decomposing granite and clay) was compacted to 95% using
    water as the bonding agent.

FUNNY>>>If I was to drill for a well ... I would need 700 ft of pipe and maybe
    we might his water.

Now if we get a 100 yr storm .. this building might wash away.

Blocks unload and the building starts. See the foam inserts

Rebar and tubes on one side and foam on the other. The block will be filled with concrete.

You're going to have a first class shop. I like the use of Omni blocks. I used conventional blocks on mine and I've been happy with them, so the Omni blocks should be a real plus.

Interesting soil, ever had it assayed?

Friday and the first two rows of block is in. A special inspector (blue shirt) was called in for the gout /concrete slurry to be poured. He was a former nuclear engineer and ride his motorcycle to all the job site. Each hole had a vibrating hose to get the concrete into all the small area. #5 rebar 2' oc ..

Plumbing will be here Monday morn. to dig the trench for the electrical and water line. We flip flop the bath room so we could save on the ejector pump. Shit would have flow up stream with pump.

All construction has their faults. The inspector didn't turn up until Monday pushed every thing back until today.

Plumber was here most of the day. The damage that was done in the front of the drive digging a trench for the new water pipe. All my electrics to the street lights have gone black. All the water lines were cut. Even had them marked and still gone.

A new ejector pump put in place. Yes, shit will flow up stream.

The plummer was by himself today. Laid out 300 ft of 1 inch water line from the main T to the garage. The sewer pipe had to be adjusted for negative flow.

White PVC from the mainline in the street to the house. The blue line feeds the garage.

The inspector will coming by in the morning than we can cover up the lines.
Hopefully we will not need sand to cushion the piping.

Will have pictures of the copper piping in the morning.
