Hi Guy's I want to go AGM and would love a Motobatt, but I am in Canada and can't finf a supplier in Canada. Anyone have any info? I would take the yuasa ( YTX14AH-BS ) but the dimensions seem a little too big to fit in the box. Any one know the correct # of an agm that would replace the old 12N12A-4A-1. Many thanks Now if I could just get rid of this 30cm of snow that fell yesterday!! Mike
Motobatt is a Chinese made, overpriced mediocre quality AGM. i've had three. These are North American made, priced very reasonably, great quality http://www.dekabatteries.com/default.aspx?pageid=218
Not all the Deka motorcycle batteries are made in North America. Maybe just the AGM type? I have two Deka's and they are both made in Taiwan. One is for a Suzuki Hayabusa and the other is for a CB450K5 which is the same size as battery as the CB350 (12N12A-4A-1). Both are the flooded cell type. Deka dosen't have a AGM battery in the right size for the smaller Honda's. They do have one for the CB750K1-K7 These guys liked the Motobatt http://www.intruderalert.com/cafe/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=157926 Mike, are you "CTRIDER" on the Honda Twins forum? Looks like somebody ordered a Motobatt for his CB450K0. Hopefully he posts if it fits or not. My results were poor with the Deka battery for the Honda. It lasted just over 2 years. One of the cells shorted out. I'm going with a replacement battery from Advance Auto Parts for $28. Use promo code P20. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/we...owersport-battery-113-cca-autocraft_2090017-p
Yup, that's me (ctrider) how did you figure that out? Yeah, i have only heard good things about motobatt. I will check around. Thanks guys cheers
