I have noticed there are two area specific tags in Michigan but no luck finding a state wide tag. Was one ever started? I didn't have any luck searching.

I don't believe there is a statewide tag for Michigan.

Start one. I've been trying to tell Kentnothstine to start a Northern Michigan game. I like options. :)

Even the not so big bikes are in it. The KLR pig has hauled me from Coleman to Minneapolis in a day's riding, so everything in MI is technically "in range".

    A KLR is a "big bike" !

I figure anything over 450 is big enough for travel ......

I rode mine to Deals Gap last year ..... Great ride .

The KLR just isn't two up friendly .
    Just my opinion ...

I was going to start one last year with a mascot, but just never got around to it. I like options too.

I know... I just have been busy, and I have a fairly small range right now.

Anyhow, boats and docks have to be put in, plus water skiing. Canoe camping this weekend. Just too busy having fun I guess. :D

It literally takes seconds. Pull off somewhere on your way home from work. Snap a picture and post it in a new thread. The part that will take the longest is posting it, since you have a dumb phone. ;)

Better yet, do it on the way TO work!

I agree, the KLR can certainly tour, and does have a place in the smaller/slower end of the big bikes category. Usually when I think big adv bikes though, I think stuff like the 1150/1200 GS, the 990, 1000cc strom, stuff like that. I need a better seat for mine, then it'll be an even better tour machine.

A mascot or other item to physically move around sounds interesting. Maybe we could throw an explanation tag on it incase someone not in the game finds it and wants to wander off with it. What were y'all thinking of for a mascot?

We actually tried that on STN and it didn't take off to well. The mascot came missing a few times and some found it difficult to find or find a place to hide it. Seems the state wide tag is so popular the mascot tag just didn't take off. I will start a state wide tag on here as soon as this weather turns nice again. It seems there are enough people posting in this regional thread to keep it moving and interesting.

What, nobody felt like braving the crappy weather to move it? JK.

Cool, can't wait to see where the state wide tag ends up. I'm hoping to get a chance to participate in that one a time or two this year in addition to the region specific ones. That's a good point about a mascot, figured it would probably grow legs or become burdensome to find/store.
