Expect a lot of shaking and bear cussing before the bear finally just decides to leave you in your wrapper, pop your head off and eat your body through your jacket collar.

The bears will probably team-up on you at this point – one jumping on your abdomen to squeeze out the good stuff – the other getting itself playfully entangle in your entrails as they come squirting out.

Your only preventative defense in this case is to remove the comfort collar you had sewn into your 'Stich and hope the snout chafing is enough to drive the bear away.

With any luck, your family can have an open casket funeral once the mortician stitches your still-helmeted had back on your mostly in tacked hollow shell of a body.

You are exactly 1,798,887 times as likely to be killed on your motorcycle than you are to be attacked by a wild animal while inoccently standing on the side of the road.

I"m not sure that's the exact statistic, from what I hear with habitat loss and everything the wild animals are jumping right out at people like trees.

Out West here all we worry about is the Jackalope as mentioned in an earlier post. This one here almost got me but somehow I escaped. In the mid-west you have to worry about the Flying Jackalope which has wings and feet of a Pheasant.
Good luck to any of you traveling the Western Deserts and Mountains.

I used to wear a full face helmet and bike gloves when play fighting with a she cat I once had, I still have the gloves and they show serious claw marks, she was a mean cat tho.

Mithril. God, I'm such a geek. :shog

We have lots of boar around here (bear, wolves, coyotes and biggish cats, too) and I'm pretty sure my riding kit ain't gonna do shiat against one of them.

It wasn't the elves that gave Bilbo his mithril chainmail shirt, it was the dwarves. Geek on... :rofl :rofl :rofl

I just carry a sledge hammer all the time when I'm riding, the wild animals are terrified of me. Especially mosquitos.

You say that like it's a bad thing?

I can't answer the question- There are too many variables in the words "gear" and "animal". A pissed off house cat is not the same as a rabid opossum.

ATGATT is good for spraying bees, hornets and wasps nest as long as you wrap a scarf under you helmet. They land on my RC 1-piece and don't know what to do before dying.

When I was a wee little lad I used to wear these while terrorizing the 'hood on my BMX bike:

One time I was attacked by some dog that ran out from a yard...he bit my shins a few times but luckily there was no damage. One good solid placed kick to the noggin made him think twice about carrying on his attack. :lol3

Cats are not allergic to the sucking of the vacuum cleaner, but to the hissing sound - it riles them up. I wonder why you wanted to vacuum the cat - there are better ways to clean a cat.

As to wearing ATGATT in the woods against ferocious animals - you will have to drop your pants to take a shit...

My visor works great against ferocious insects... :super
