Now back to your regularly scheduled original posting:.............

    Saturday, August 8th

    OK,

A whole thread to keep the clutter out of the GSTOR.
WOW, what's this game coming too?

    Here is my plan:

Just be warned, I am on a mission here for old tags.
    "totbab"s too-old-to-be-a-bruce

    Saturday, August 8th

I have a list of 70 tags on my list.
I doubt I will get to that many, but it is better to have a plan and know where I want to go just in case.

The main plan is to drive up 206 and eventually wind up at Tri-Points Monument.
Then over the hills to the "Connie" airplane.

Coming back I want to hit as many as possible.
But when push comes to shove, I can quit at any time and head home.

My plan is to leave home at around 4:30 AM.
Catch the sunrise at Mercer Oak in Princeton around 6:00 or so and go from there until it gets close to dark.

I already have my directions printed out (on paper).
As long as I get the tags up 206 and around the West Milford area I will be happy.
    That's around 40 tags.

I can only go 150 miles before needing to look for a gas station.
    180 is about max.
I have no reserve on my 4.2 gallon tank either.
Let me know your range so we know who has to stop first.

I think I will have a sore butt for sure. :lol3

    :ricky

I know it is ambitious, but why not.
My wife will be out of town that day, so I can play all I want.

You can meet me anywhere and leave any time.

I just hope the weather cooperates or it will be a while before I can try this again.

Actually, I think the game is so popular, and there is so many people watching, playing, lurking, that it's slowing a bit because of the banter.

I'm not trying to discurage anything. Just trying to organize the clutter.

    No problem here EvoLife.
    I appreciate the new thread.
I didn't want to clog up the thread with this either.
I never knew so many people would be interested.
I was just going to PM anyone who was interested, but this is a much better idea.
    Thanks.

    Not a problem.
I will try and work up some kind of time table.
    For reference only.
I'm not sure how long any of this will take.
All I know is it is going to be a long day.
But I am sure looking forward to it.

I figure we can PM phone numbers back and forth and we can call on the road when we get close to people or they can find out where we are. :thumb

4:30 is pretty early. Especially for me.
But I won't be getting to Mercer Oak until around 6:00.

I was going to save Mercer County tags for some other time because they are closer to me.
The Idea is to push North and grab what we can along the way.

After Mercer Oak there is the Princeton Friends Meeting House at the same location.
Then there are 4 more tags right in Princeton.

Then on 206 North to a Temple and then Devil's Tree.
    What a combo huh?
Devil's Tree is just above Bridgewater off 525 but I am coming from the West on that one off 206.

Then we cross over 78 into the wild green yonder.

Princeton would be the best bet for coffee.
I was just going to wolf down some cereal and be on my way.

The less stops, the more tags. :D

I told you I was on a mission.

    You can meet us anywhere.
Priceton would be best for you, but that is entirely up to you.

We will PM phone numbers so we can all catch up to where we are when someone wants to join.

With all the stops it will be possible for almost anyone to catch up to us off of 206 until we get past Tri-Points Monument.

    Ride:ricky Ride :ricky Ride :ricky

And they accuse me of being lazy ! :oscar

#181 I have an address, but I am not exactly sure where that one is.
Right now I have us catching Clinton Road at it's northern end so I don't miss Clinton Furnace.

I have Wawayonda Furnace on the list too. I hope they let us in for free just to get a picture like they did the rider who got the tag.
But some one did mention they knew a free way in ! :D
