    yes I do, but it's still 11 hours on the interstate - and I loathe the interstate. It would take me 2 days each way to take the scenic route, but if the timing is right I may be able to take some extra days vacation and take Dan up on his offer... ("mandatory work" for the first 3 weeks in June)

    right now there are a few weeks per year I am a "slave": 3 weeks in June, and all of August and September :bluduh (at least I get a lot of comp time out of it...)

    Anybody ever stay at the Alpine Lodge in Davis WV? I know the restaurant [Sawmill] caught fire last year [not sure if it was rebuilt]. I have drove past it many times, but never gave it a closer look. If you knuckleheads didn't need rooms, there is a nice private campground just before Blackwater Falls State Park called the Restrite. Hot showers and convince store/gas station and Micro brew/restaurant w/in walking distance. If we did do Davis, we'd have to do a Blackwater 100 redo.
