EDIT: Shipping address taken care of!

So cards have been canceled/re-ordered, and I will be up and running by tomorrow. Thank you EVERYONE that has allowed me to continue my trip. I will have to be in Yreka, CA Monday morning to stop by the DMV to replace my license, so I'll be touring Oregon for the next few days. I am having A&S ship me something this weekend, does anybody have an address I can use? I'll most likely be in Portland tomorrow, then Eugene, then Grants Pass/Medford. Thanks again.

I'm in Redding, south of Yreka on 5 about 1.5 hrs. If you're heading down this way you can ship here then I'll show you the best route out to the 101. That would be Hwy 36. :evil From there you can hit the Lost Coast.

    Let me know.

    Hello Erika:
Great report and Glad everyone is here to help.
On occasions where I find myself traveling and in need of parts, tools or whatever. If I am on the US, I usually go to and choose any UPS store (that is near where I am staying) and use their address and have my parts delivered there. Is the easiest by far and I can always rely on them. Just make sure you Write the following:
UPS Customer Service/Will Call, Or UPS Store
    Your Name,
    Address (Their Address)
    City, State, zip code.
The package will stay at that location when It arrives and You just have to
ask for It. (and Show your ID,provided you have one)

    Again Great report and enjoy....
Anything you may need, just ask... You are not alone

    bst regards Louis/Hludwit

Wow, what a thread. Three things:

I wish I would have seen this when it was happening, as I'm not far away and wasn't doing anything.

I was sure glad to hear it wasn't anything too serious, and Erica is OK.

And, the response from this site, and Spot, is amazing. I've got to get one of those things.

Glad you are up and running again.... and ok...

I met Erica a couple months ago while doing reshoots on a movie and she really is a wonderfull soul and full of adventure. she was a little nervous about her trip so I sent her a note...:deal

    It's Scott from CD2
<HR style="COLOR: #575757" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->keep me in the loop about your trip and let me know if you need anything...
You will have a blast don't sweat the naysayers, no pun intended. Just remember you ride with your ADV friends and you will want for nothing as long as you ask for it!!
If you need any advice I will do my best to help, but there are many on here that have much more experience than I

So I had no idea that she would test it out like she did.... (really Erica???)
Thanks to all of you who took care of her in her time of need:clap :clap :clap

I have seen ADVers get alot of people out of alot of jams and it did not matter who they were or how good they looked, what mattered was that they were ADV riders or friends of ADV riders!!!

I feel better about the world knowing that all you FFs have my back..

    Erica you ROCK!!! :ken :evil

Glad to hear this turned out as well as it did - could have been a lot worse.

Erica, hope rest of the trip is as photogenic but with a little less ADVersity in the ADVenture!

+1 on the comments re: splitting up money, credit, IDs and spare key. Learned the wallet one the hard way.... although I was lucky enough to find it after 45 minutes of looking.

I think she's probably already worked this out... but.. I have an electronic fax that routes faxes directly to my email as PDF files.. If Erica still needs this license copy, she can have it faxed to me and I can forward to any email address.. All she'll need is adobe reader and a printer... Heck, maybe even a PDF or JPG copy on her cell phone would be enough..

Please don't jump the gun and try to arrange this unless the request comes from Erica.. Privacy, etc...

Just an option if it's still needed.

    Safe travels.

Amazing. I think Chi town pretty well hit the nail on the head with his little summation. Not much more you can say. Good luck! Glad I happened on to your ride report. Definitely subscribing to the rest of it.
