Interesting. Just entered my info again - 6'2"/ 34" inseam gets 67 for me - not 77. The Crosstourer yields the results you describe...not the Crossrunner.
Exactly my experience too. Folks talk about how vehicles get better mileage after break-in, but at least for everything I've ever bought new, my more liberal use of the throttle completely overwhelms this effect. - Mark
Sorry, poor choice of words...I apologize. Should have said, nice to see real world numbers getting reported.
I ride like I ride, brand new or used bike. So my mileage does tend to go up a bit as it breaks in. It's "all other things being equal," per usual. If you ride it harder as time goes by, it'll surely show in the figures. And the more figures we see, the more representative it'll be. Good to see input still coming in.
My wife should be putting money down on my bike any minute now. So I guess the rest of my posts about the NC should be in the Owners thread. See you there. Come on Spring, or at least a nice 40 degree day
I'd put my money down on one if I could get a DCT around here. I kind of have to wait on the 2013 since the 2012 can no longer be ordered. Oh, and I agree, you suck.
Might get to 38 this weekend.................close enough:. Heated grips, tall wind screen and heated vest
It was around 20*F on my ride to work this morning. Nice and toasty with my Cal-sci shield and Gerbings. I didn't see any other bikes on the commute, and the guys at work that don't understand heated gear think I'm nuts. Little do they know, I was very warm.
