Hi all, I am a "xeno" living on Crete, Greece for 5 years, driving my GS. When time calls for it I hang out with the V-strom club here.

I'm no Greek, nor do I live there, but am in Italy. My wife and I are riding from Milan to Athens in August. Any tips or ideas on touring in Greece would be much appreciated

I studied for 3 months at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The Greeks were pleasant but they were the most hopeless, disorganised and chaotic bunch of incompents I ever met. Sorry.

Hey All, I am a bit north of Greece, in Kosovo. I made a trip down the Thessalaniki last fall. I just picked up a bike and will be doing a bit exploring in Kosovo, and then expanding out to Macedonia and Norther Greece.

I hope to catch up with some of you sometime.

G'Day All!

I'm down in Athens - north near Marousi station Pefki/Iraklio for work. I'm not too game on riding here on the wrong side of the road so soon but love to know where a good weekend spot is to go to to hire and cruise on something like a F650 on some single tracks away from roads/traffic!

Anyone down here want to catch up or tell me some good hangouts/meetings for adv folxs please do tell.

Will be here until Nov 23 2007.

Hi to all of you here
I do not think that riding or adv touring has nothing to do with origin, but since I found out here that some in-ADVRider communities are created, I am initiating the space for Greek origin riders.

I am from Athens-Greece
Riding a R1200GS and a HP2 (my son's)

My wife is Greek, but we live in San Diego, and she doesn't ride, so I don't think she counts. But, she makes WICKED spanikopita, moussaka, and pasticcio. And, when I get home bruised and battered she makes me feel good.
