    I've always had a fondness for old churches, and snap pictures of them often. I did a search to see if a thread existed for pics of Churches, etc. but did not find any.

    So with that said, I'd love to see what else you guys got. If you can, please include an approximate location for the place of worship that you are posting a picture of.

    I am kicking this off with a not so great but very recent cell phone shot I got the other day near Modena NY. I found the "parthenon" look to be interesting.

    I don't care what you say - the church, sleek ride, not to mention your photograph itself inspired me to stop our Sunday ride to pose the Stelvio for a church tag! I should've taken more time to note where I was but the winding asphalt ribbon was calling me back. I thought we'd passed into Duchess County, but in reality, after looking at my Zumo tracks, we were still in CT! About 9 miles south of Canaan. Taken yesterday, 3/20/11.

    We passed this mosque in the town of Kodungallur in South India. Its the historic Cheraman Mosque, which is the first mosque built in India in the year 629 AD. Still in service.
