I recently bought a 96 R1100GS. Upon closer inspection of the rear seat (it was a little wobbly), I found that the latch on the seat was actually a piece of metal clothes hanger and it is broken (clothes hangers aren't exactly high strength steel). Does anyone know where I can get new (or used) hardware for the rear seat?

Having just put a '95 GS back on the road I can only echo the advice to use MAX BMW for parts. Excellent service - I can get parts from them (on the other side of the continent from me) faster than I can get them from my local, well-known, dealer just a few miles away.....
