I got this pipe off of Jamie in swap (Good seller btw) and got it on today... WOW, I like this. The bike sounds like it has an engine now. It feels allot stronger now, it picks up the front wheel a bit easier now in first and snags a bit of a wheelie into second, not bad for a 1100 me thinks. The weigh savings is nice but my motivation was to get that hotbox out from under the tranny...I can see that roaching seals. Is there anything else I should do tuning wise to compensate for the slip on?
Do a search on CCP (cat code plug). Some people (me included) recommend removing the (pink) plug. This apparently tells the fuel injection computer to go a little richer. Cheers, Ben
Hi Alex, I'm glad you like the pipe. It's a nice mod. I didn't do anything to my GS while I had it on and the bike ran fine. Enjoy!
It was like spring last forever when i manage to get rid of my cat and stock muffler... (leoVinci race titanium) For 15000km was running great but my mechanic said that i must do my valve adjustment a bit loose than Javarila propose... and he give a bit more fuel from diagnostic computer... nothing but a tiny change if you ask me. Some people said that a free boxer sounds like an world war 2 airplane... i couldn't understund them till i notice a squadron of ducatis at 3 o'clock behind me, instantly, i throw my bags and check the radar again...
