The Museum of the American Rail Road, currently in Dallas and in the process of moving to Frisco, TX, has a centennial,in it's permanent collection. I don't know where it is at the moment, either Dallas or Frisco, or somewhere else? I just need the time to go looking for it.

    Anyone in the DFW area????

It's been 9 days we have been stuck on this tag. Pick something else Mr D. In Winter, some easier tags will keep the game moving faster.

No tracks in my area. And I haven't had the time for a longer ride lately.

I can pick something else but can't actually get a pic as I am sick. How about a minor league baseball park? I thought about making that the tag item the other day. So get a minor league baseball park.

:huh That's no better than the 8 axle locomotive. Try picking something that isn't limited by specific locations. You know, a common object or type of place. Perhaps something that people that don't live in major cities can still grab. :D

If I had time, I'd ride to Vegas and get either of those tags there, but I don't have most of a day to kill during the week just to go score a tag or two.

Fine with me, get a baseball park. As to the minor league parks being scarce, apparently that ain't true.

Location, location, location. I found this map:

    Similar map

But there are big holes all over, from the Dakotas to, yep, Utah. Thanks for the change.

I'm not trying to be a jerk. I have changed the tag item from an eight axle locomotive to a steam engine with tender, to any locomotive, now a minor league baseball park (which may not be in Utah), and now I will go with rugby's suggestion of any baseball park. Get a baseball park. Please.

Thanks Duane. I'm not trying to be a jerk either, just like the tag games to move along. I'll go out after lunch and see if I can grab the tab before being bruced. Got another tag to grab too.

    Hmm.
Do I try and sneak out and grab the crappy baseball field beside my parking lot,
or sneak out and go for the durham bulls?

(Or realistically, neither cause i'm stuck on stupid conference calls staring out my window wishing I was outside)

If I can remember it, I have a minor league park about 500 yards from my route home. I'll have to see if I can beat Dirty to it.

Go get the Mudcats park. It's certainly a better ride than downtown Durham.

Twenty miles of 540 is not fun on a 450.

Jumping train tracks etc is fun

    Grab - Baseball Park.

No minor league teams/parks for 140 miles South or 350 North, so just the local public ball park complex where all the schools play their division games.

New Tag - Your motorcycle and a tunnel. Any size, pedestrian or vehicle is good. (please don't get run over getting the tag)

Raleigh - Pedestrian path - Follows Honeycutt Creek from Raven Ridge Rd to Durant Rd, continues as a
multi-purpose path along Honeycutt Rd to Honeycutt Park. The trail continues through
a pedestrian tunnel underneath I-540 through the Bent Tree subdivision to Strickland Rd.
The trail is connected by sidewalks along Carriage Tour Ln and Strickland Rd.

Don't know if you can score a pic from Strickland Rd. or not.

    Raleigh, North Carolina

The NC State University pedestrian tunnel stretches from Reynolds Coliseum to Mann Hall. This tunnel is one of three that connects the University's central and north campuses. The tunnel is approximately 50 feet long and runs beneath the rail line that bisects the university's campus. The tunnel is lit for safe nighttime passage and is split into two sections for bi-directional foot traffic. http://www.ascenc.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=100&Itemid=76

You also have the tunnel under the taxi way at the airport.
And I have no idea where that tunnel under 540 is.
Strickland is never really close to 540 either.
