if you mean the 90S bikini fairing, they're available new from dealerships (like bob's bmw, max's, etc), and used from ebay, airhead salvage, re-psycle.com, etc.

Rapid transit fairings are the coolest thing since sliced bread. Paint the bike blue and silver to match and you're good to go:thumb

I've got a pic that I'll post later today.. gotta find it. Yes, it's for sale. It's got lowers as well.

I sold a Windjammer for $150... but I gotta take a better look at this one before I come up with a price (I took it off my bike as soon as I got it home).

The Hannigan fairings provide superb protection, are easily reconfigured for summer/winter, and still have complete parts support. They also look MUCH better in person than in photos. In fact I now think that a R100 RS looks crude compared to my Hannigan because all the bike photos are taken from a height lower than your eye level. From eye level the Hannigan looks more svelte and I always get positive comments .

I've had a Hannigan fairing on my R90/6 for 12 years. Been riding without it for a few weeks while I patch it up. Boy, they are strong! Wouldn't be able to patch, fiberglass, lesser fairings. Using the bike just around the neighborhood for a bit it feels really strange. New to me, I've had the large Hannigan so long, but I can't wait to get it back on and out where it truly rules, out on the open highway.

You can find the Windjammer fairings for free, and also the Daytonas. I give them away for free to save the dump from filling up.

Research your alternatives before making a move. Decide how much 'coverage' you need/want.

Ya couldn't wait 10 hours, sorry about the 4 years! It's gone now, but here's a pic of the turd:

I traded the above fairing for $700 worth of parts (including Craven bags and mounts which I regret selling). I sold the Windjammer from my R75 for $150 cash.

I currently have another damn-near-immaculate Windjammer (with radio, lowers, mount, wiring harness, spare windshield) that I'm trying to get rid of.. I might just give it away.

Does anybody have any experience or photos of one of these aftermarket S Fairings installed? I'm not really worried about the clock and the voltmeter that comes on the original BMW model, I just want to replicate the look, preferrably with new parts. I'm leaning towards the Glass From The Past Unit as it comes with the windscreen.
