This is what you see when you loan your scoot to a ridercoach...

What next, a sidecar forum, for crying out loud? Hey, wait a minute....

THese scoots were in a S/TEP class I helped teach last July: [IMG]

A friend of mine used to have a pretty cool collection of vintage and custom scooters; I have some great photos, but it is a pain in the ass to post pix on ADVrider anymore and I don't have time to mess with it now.

A Zuma rental in Marmaris, Turkey... What a hoot, we rode the piss out of them :nod Even a ratted out rental Zuma was good for a tad over 60mph (in a aero tuck!). Edit - now that I think about it could it have been 60 on a 49cc? Speedo said 100km/ph...

Both 1980 P 200s. The new one is low miles with a 210 Malossi head and piston. Pollini pipe is on order from Scooterworks! :evil Even upgraded to the oversize milk carton carryall. :eek1

    Good idea.

Feel free to start a thread, too, if you want some input.

I'm still trying to dial in my Pinasco 177. Hasn't kept me from riding it, though. :lol3

Did you change the mainjet? I think with a more freeflowing exhaust and larger piston, jump up a size or 2 for a richer mix? Am I correct in this thinking? :dunno

OMG. I love the CT's. :clap My neighbor had a CT-70 when I had a Z-50, and it was the "big bike" in the neighborhod. I think Sochiro Honda had us all hooked by age 7.

Speaking of CT's...I'd sell my soul for a perfect CT-110. :nod Probably one of the kewlest camp bikes ever made, next to the TW-thingey.

Basically, yes. But the scoot also has a Dellorto 24G carb, which is very finicky to dial in. Started with a 120, backed down to a 110 and soft-seized, now I'm at a 112, and it's still not quite there because the idle is handling most of the around town stuff and it's rich but on long country rides it's a bit lean.

This is the only pic I have. My Alienware crashed taking all my pictures and old camera software with it (limping along on an old notebook for now). Got a new Canon SD400 and snapped this with it before the wife stole it and took it to Las Vegas with her (to do a Track Day at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway).

    What? No 100 mirrors? :lol2

Actually, not even 2 mirrors? You don't find it annoying that you can't see what's behind you? :eek1
