Is this thread strictly for iPhone or can other camera phones come out and play?

To my way of thinking, it's all phone cameras and I'm the guy who started the thread .

Nice sepia tone....was that through an app on the camera or post processing?

    I'm digging this one.

My main reason for wanting to upgrade to the 4S is camera quality and speed. Lugging my D90 around gets old, and my iPhone is always there. I've captured more memories in my phone than any other camera I'ved owned. It's a great technological movement.

I have a decent point and shoot, haven't picked it up since the day I got the iPhone. I'd love to have some nice equipment but transporting it is always the issue for me, I even have the armor case on the phone because I carry it in a tail bag so much.

As for taking pics, I use the phone nearly every day... I share a classroom with another instructor so things can rarely be left on the board, I simply snap a pic and I can pick up where I've left off for the next class meeting. I also use it out in the shop to help track student's progress on their projects. I review the pics once a week and also offer them to students if they are building a portfolio or such.

Hey Chisen... not my pic... however... any decent edit suite such as Aperture or Photoshop/lightbox will allow you to brush the blur onto any area of the photo. For those of us not lugging long lenses about or shooting wide open, this is a fine, fine thing.

Pseudo-Tilt shift done in the Instagram app. You can choose between either two fields of blur or a circle blur. Here's two more examples from my phone:

A couple of months ago, i picked up the iPro lens Kit from www.schneideroptics.com

It includes a case for your iphone 4 and 4S which allows you to use the accompanying tripod mont
The case is also used to attach the accompanying wide angle and fisheye eye lenses which are cleverly
    stored in the tripod mount.

Here are some shots of the setup along with a a couple of pics showing the differences made with the wide angle and
    fisheye lenses.

A few of the "artsy" mistakes I've blundered into lately:

Not so artsy, but Peter Frampton at the Beacon Theater last weekend.

On my first trip to Italy, I'd just bought a Motorola V-60 that would work in Europe. My first night in Milan, I was on my way to dinner when I passed an internet/mobile phone store. They had this Moto Guzzi single in the window and the grating closed. It made for a pretty interesting photo. It was my first cell phone "artsy blunder." Sorry about the size, it's the resize I did for my phone wallpaper. I think the original is on my PC in storage.

I have no clue what I'm doing with a camera. I appreciate a good shot, but be damned if I know how folks do it.

Always have my phone, so if a pic is to be taken, that'll be it. P&S hasn't been used in a couple of years. Post-prod, I have no clue about.

    Here's some I took, that I liked:

It works a lot better than I ever expected, doubt I'll ever buy a real camera, this'll do.
