So, every spring, a bunch of friends and I take a week long MC trip somewhere in the Eastern US. Last year we travelled 2400 miles from Philly to Western Kentucky, before coming back east through the smokies and the Blue Ridge. Great trip, but we got caught up in all kinds of horrendous weather for a few days. To possibly avoid that this year, we are planning 2 separate routes, one North and another South. We figure this way we can make a "game time" decision based upon the weather. All things being equal (weather-wise), which would you elect to take? Option 1 - Northern Route 2315 Miles - 8 States Option 2 - Southern Route 2323 Miles - 7 States
