Whenever I see a place like this, I wonder what life must have been like there. It is every bit as isolated as it looks.
Legend is, Lord Baltimore sent two separate surveyors west to find the best track of land, which was to be given to him by Mother England. Without each others knowledge, they both came back with the same parcel. Thus named Accident. Now a town of about 400.

Not sure how old, can't find any information on the net. It is on the Italian side of the Col de l'Iseran: The building was open, some floors were partially collapsed. Didn't want to go in on my own without any backup. Made another nice photo when I turned around:
