    Hello everybody! New to this site, some riding experience, planning to ride to Mexico (Copper Canyon)early December I will staying in the area for at least 6 weeks.Is anyone riding Mexico?

    December to the CC on a bike is very much possible but you also need to
    consider for the possibility of some winter weather.High elevation and northerly latitude could produce snow and ice events and you may well find yourself inside a cabin for several days or a week. Bring warm clothing.
    Not saying you will get frozen in but there is that possibility between
    late November to March . December ,January and February can have some brutal cold nights up around Creel with daytime temperature barely above freezing .You might hit six weeks of splendid weather( not likely), or you
    could be bucking snowdrifts on some forest trail, unless you decide to " hole up"
    in a village at the bottom of the canyon . Timing and elevation is everything.
