Most of us go on a day ride, and expect to have a lot of fun and very rewarding experience. Most of the time it turns out as expected, sometimes badly, and one in a million turn out better than anyone could have ever hoped for. This short report by Dogjaw is one of those very rare times everything came together for an awesome outcome.

It touches one in a special way when things like this happen. The care of one of God's creatures takes priority over the ride. Or is it the ride was to help someone in the first place. Sometimes you just wonder. Nice work and YOU WILL BE REWARDED.

In heaven for you gentlemen. And in hell for the indescribably evil person that did that.
Is there a tag on the collar? Phone number? It would almost be too good for that evil trash to be locked in a cage to starve to death. It's the least that could be done for the planet to rid it of the soulless waste of oxygen.
Thank you both for your kindness.

A heartwarming story guys. I had tears in my eyes as I looked at the photos. Thanks for posting.

I had a similar situation many years ago while dirt bike riding. Shortly after I unloaded my bike from my truck, I noticed a box full of kittens abandoned by the side of the road. I knew right then that my riding for the day was over before it even began. I collected the kittens, took them home, my girlfriend (who is now my wife) and I nursed them to health, and we found homes for them. A happy ending to a potentially sad story.

Please keep us posted regarding CB. Please post pictures as she continues to recover.

You are to be commended !! The low life , ignorant person that did this needs to have the same treatment bestowed upon them and maybe just maybe they would learn.

This is heartbreaking to see . Let us hope the sub humans that did this will get a visit from Karma.
I have a little stray dog sitting by side right now that I found after someone set him out on a 45 mph highway. He has brought us many happy moments in return.

    Thank you so much, guys.

I echo what the others have said.

There are special places reserved for both you and the lowlife who left that dog there.

The photo of CB licking you in the truck says it all.

    Bless you both.

That is a great short story with a happy ending. :freaky

The person(s) who left that dog to die like that deserve no less than the same treatment.
