I also like westerns. I like Silverado. There is a bit in it where I am pretty sure they are eating PIE!

I am thinking some brisket and hot links would be a plate of awesome. Follow it up with some chocolate cake with some frosting that goes well with it and I would be a happy, happy person.

May have to make that happen this weekend.

That sounds good but I'm thinking a thick ribeye cooked rare over an open fire and a fruit pie. No rabbit food just steak and pie. Nothing more is need...................except beer. STEAK, PIE and BEER, tomorrow nights dinner will be perfect. Sometime during the night I'll probably eat a few peanuts as well. So STEAK, PIE, BEER and PEANUTS, it will be an awesome meal.

I hit a deer on a muddy dirt road just north of Cloverton, Mn. I was going too fast...around 50 mph. The deer was stretched out low running really fast, and I didn't see it until it was five feet from the grill. Bang! Dead deer.

The deer struck mostly the bumper on the right side and mostly stayed out of the grill. No lights broken. The bumper was bent back to about a quarter inch clearance of the right tire when the wheel was straight. The tire scraped the bumper around corners. I drove the two hours home and took a big pry bar and bent it back again. Zip-ties reattached the plastic. I'll do more when it's light. The truck tracked straight and true on the freeway, so I don't think it was knocked out of alignment.

Looks like I got out of that one scot-free.
