I have not spent a lot of time on my 78 and this is a new one to me.

What happens if you try to "Archive" these tracks? It should push them from Current folder to Archive Folder an not visible on he screen.

I would try using File Explorer on your PC. Since it puts GPS into memory mode and PC is in control not GPS firmware that could work

Don't know why Emmbeedee has not commented, he really knows this device. Try PMing him.

Thanks Jerry. I will try "archiving" the tracks when I get home this evening and I'll let you know. I will also PM Emmbeedee.

No need. I would suggest what Jerry already has. Try Archiving them if they're not already, or "Make Favorite" if they're already in the Archive, to get them into the Track Manager to be deleted.

If that fails, download and run Javawa Device Manager and run a check for bad files, and it'll probably help delete those.

I was unable to archive the tracks...I will try the Javawa route this evening when I get home. Thanks.

Have you tried just using File Explorer on your PC?

That is all I ukse to move tracks into/out of my 78 and also to move from back and forth between Current and Archive folder in 78.
