Losing a lot of time always makes a difference.

If your bike was falling apart underneath you to the extent you didn't trust it anymore, would you continue to risk your life on it?

Verhoeven says there's been a mistake in the route - one WP was 1km left from where it should've been according to roadbook & compass, explaining the upsets of today.

Nasser was at the time warned to not over-rev the engine as the belt would come off. When his chances on a good finish were shot, he just gave up so he could be at the Monte Carlo rally.

I have a feeling this is the part of the special that caught a few riders out. Note the 3 exclamation marks (!!!) at the top. I recall one of the riders saying it was like a shear drop that they went over flat out?

Yes, looking at it again, km 59.02 and km 60.71 seem to contain a WPS.

Copy the stuff in the "code" box, paste it into notepad.
Save this as "KennysDakar.m3u" on your hard drive.
    Open VLC player.
Click "Media" -> "open file" and open "KennysDakar.m3u"

You can now switch between all TV stations.

Also on that page was a WPN (hidden?) and some other waypoint for GPS activation, so just adds to the wrong waypoint discussion
