Production turbo bikes have been few and far between. There was a Honda 500 back in the '70s or '80s, and there have been a couple of others but I cannot remember the model right now. Turboed engines laying down their power through a single wheel with a relatively small contact area on the road doesn't really seem a goer. But some will have a go. Here's one I saw Bangkok's Royal City Avenue last week.
I love a good turbo bike, but I've seen that V-rod kit from Trask before and I don't understand the point of putting the intercooler in that orientation. Hardly any airflow. When I get mine done I'll post pics.
Only an fyi here. This is the 750turbo I had, but sold in 2007. These were produced for the 1984/85 model years by Kawasaki. Kawasaki laid their cards after Honda (500 & 650) and Yamaha (650) fielded models in the early 80's.
Airflow past the inter cooler should pull air thru from the engine side to the outside . Looking forward to your pics. Thanks,Ed
