interesting. my rusty high school chemistry tells me that hydrogen citrate is related to citric acid, which is acidic. good thing I went into computer science instead of chemistry :)

well, google found me several references to K Na Hydrogen Citrate as a gall bladder treatment, appears the research was from Germany. Alkalicitratsalze is the german generic name for it ("Alkali Citrate Salts" ?)

Hey, in much of europe, in granular form, its called URALYT-U ...

this brand is also used for the litmus paper, so careful that you're getting the compound and not the paper :)

Glenn - You lost your top case? I don't see it in the recent batch of photos. I may have missed a dispatch, but what happened. Hey, and my 90-day countdown is on... am I going to see you in Africa?

Any chance of posting a self portrait in front of a mirror showing us your technique of snapping candid pics of babes ? I'm thinking if I attempted this, babes would be throwing their shoes at me, so.. oh great one, please share your technique!

    Glen,

Good to see you are doing well. Sorry for the long absense, been working on the next adventure.

Your pics sure bring back some strong memories.

My nights over there for the first few weeks consisted of waking up in a cold sweat with my vision filled with nothing but Tata grill.

This pic you captured really tells the story best. It's hard to describe how most of your day is spent meeting these trucks on one lane roads, usually around blind corners with sheer drops for a few hundred or thousand feet. It was pretty interesting two up with our Royal Enfield's drum brakes. You more or less mailed a post card in for braking and it would get back to you in due time. Kiss your discs for me.

And I have to say, you sure are drawing some good roads compared to what we rode on over the Himalayas!

Enjoy Nepal, and bask in the good energy of the Buddhists.

I'm still hoping you can get into Tibet and then later make it down across Burma. Would love to see those borders open up.

    be well,
    Doug

    Thanks Hugh, for hosting,

Glen, thanks for keeping your eyes peeled for tallent.

The girls of the world sure are beautiful, I am off to Thailand for a first visit in May, and have been warned that I may lose my heart there.

Waiting in suspense for the beast to break out.......

Can't say if it's as effective as what your are taking but Cranberry juice is a known natural way to break down and control kidney stones.

I'm Reading the book "The healthy Liver and Bowel Book" ISBN 0-958-61374-5". Its mainly nature cure and they have a natural liver and gall bladder flush for "flushing small gallstones, toxins, fat and sludge" from the liver. It involves copious amounts of Citrus juice, garlic cloves, gingerroots and olive oil over a period of days and is not for everybody! Let me know if you want jpegs of the pages of the book. One user apparently passed 1425 stones over several hours!

Asian women generally look far younger than they actually are. The girl on my lap is 22 and the Jayn from Japan, who wants to ride Africa with me, is 34.

    Good morning to you Glen.

Yep, age is a weird thing, creeps upon some, and ambushes others.

Would never say you were 59.....:evil
