by adding sort of long side stand back along my pannier rack which can be adjusted length wise with drilled holes for proper length ...this way you stop your sag on the rear of the bike.

Let me know how that holds up long term.

Ive wanted to do such set ups, but from what I remember reading years ago on the hammock forums, the arc-tangent dealio with the hammock puts about 700 lbs of force on the tie out points with a 198 lb person in the hammock.

Tell us about the stand. Did you make it, or where can you get one?

I made this by using aluminium tubing of 16 mm ins.diameter and sliding in alu. rad and drilled couple hols for adjustment and one of them use to secure large safety pin to my panniers frame. So it is permanently attached to the bike ...however this can bi done by just alu. tubing with soled rad inserts cut to 2 or 3 sections which can be added one on top of other like those 3 peace fishing rads...depends what length is suitable for you to haw them inside your luggage or strapped to you bike.
Then just find good point on the back of you bike where this rad is gonig to be placed like you`r bike side stand.
