For me, the CB1100 wins the recent history motorcycle Beauty Contest. No bike looks better than that. (Suzuki's TU250X is a respectable second place, however.)

My expectations for Honda have become so low that bold new graphics would be a source of amazement. They've built some amazing bikes, and even some beautiful bikes, but the offerings for the past two or three years, motorcycle and automotive have had all the attraction of warm spit. So, I'm not holding my breath.

i'd personally like a crossrunner, the cb500 if priced right could be an awesome everyday bike too. 70mpg and $100 bucks a month payment? heck ya. a cbr600 is gonna set you back 300/mnth and get 30 mpg

Yes, it's highly unlikely Honda will deviate from it's corporate policy of "Predictable Mediocrity ".

So just half a day now until the cover comes off. That's 4 am eastern time. It'll be interesting to see what's coming besides the three 500s.

I'd put money on us only getting the fully faired CBR500

You know that Honda execs should be watching boards like this to help determine their product offerings, IMHO, but I've been asking every Honda official for years.........which DualSport will you ever sell to the USofA market?

And all we've had for how long.........is the XR650L.......so my personal response is this:

I QUIT BUYING HONDA'S.......got rid of my XR650R's and buy from companies that want my business by offering bikes I want to buy here....In the United States of America.........

    And I won't buy any partial offerings........maybe they'll figure it out.........eventually..........

I figure the bikes under the covers are empty shells. They all look like high-bar cruisers in the pic; we know that won't be the case. Or, if it is, then Honda autos will be carrying the company for a long-ass time.

I was at that show in on Friday and that the show as a whole was a joke. However I did smile when I saw the Twisted Throttle NC700.

cb1100 and cb500f are the only ones I like based purely on aesthetics, the cb500x is ok...but what the HECK are they thinking :huh trying to make a cruiser version of the goldwing? It looks ugly and stupid like its missing the whole back end and they just stuck a smaller windshield on it :puke1. For goodness sake if they are gonna make a cruiser tourer they should've started with a new body design and if they felt so compelled just put the GW engine in it.
