(58-39) Losing five of the last six games by a total of 6 runs is dissappointing. A-Rod is on the DL for 6-8 weeks after being HBP.

(59-39) We at least salvaged a win before coming home from a dismal road trip. Boston series starts tomorrow.

(60-39) Hughes now 10 & 8 and a nice warm welcome to Ichiro in Right Field. Lester vs. Sabathia today.

(60-40) An interesting contest last night, but it came down to a misread ball in Centerfield off of the bat of Ciriaco resulting in a triple and then the sacrifice fly by Pedroia sealed the deal for Boston. Kuroda on the hill tonight.

(60-41) A late rally by the Yankees to tie it up, but Ciriaco comes through for the Sox in the tenth with an RBI single. The only bright spots were the ejections of Valentine and Beckett. Let's hope we do better against the Orioles.

(60-42) Another one run loss. The Yankees have lost 8 out of the last eleven games. Pitching and defense have kept it close, but the offense fails to produce in the late innings. Three homers didn't help as they continue to play catch-up baseball.

(60-43) On the skids/four losses in a row. After scoring five runs in the first, it was all down hill from there for the offense and the defense. Nova gave up 10 hits and 9 runs in the first five innings. Hopefully Hughes can turn us around tonight.

Well at least one of my teams is playing well.

(61-43) The offense came alive RISP 7-for-13. Ichiro in left, McGehee at first, and Chamberlain in the pen. Cano with a Grand Slam. Seattle this weekend.

(62-43) After a day off C.C. goes the distance and fans ten. Hernandez against Kuroda today. Should be a good game.

(62-44) A pitching duel in the Bronx yesterday. My hat is off to King Felix and the Mariner Defense. Garcia on the hill today for the Bombers.

(63-44) The Yanks salvage a three game set. Garcia gets his 150th win. On to Motor City. Nova vs. Verlander.

(63-45) Having lost 11 of the last seventeen games, things are not looking so good. Verlander went 8 frames with 14 K's. 3 for 14 RISP.

(63-46) Too little too late which results in another loss. Hughes gave up 4 runs in 4.1 innings.

They should have sent Ichiro.

(64-46) The bleeding has hopefully stopped. CC and the bullpen held it together and the bats came alive with 18 hits and everyone in the lineup got at least one. Kuroda will close out the Detroit series.

(65-46) Kuroda kept it close and back to back homers sealed the deal to even out the series in Motown. Going to Toronto tonight.

(66-46) Ichiro with five RBI's on two hits and Garcia picks up another win. That's three in a row.
