    Hi Riders here is Teo.

Im a guy of almost 30 years old from Italy.

As italian Im sorry for the many mistakes U will found but hey I learned english on the road :)))

Born on a small town out of Milan, from a normal working class family.

My father is mecchanic of trucks, forklift and so on. (he is 65 and still working 6/7)

My mother was secretary and fired 3 years before the pension.

My granfather was a no pro racer and even become italian champion of 500cc of sport bikes with Gilera.

So i got a bit of DNA for bikes.

When i was 23 I had a dream. I was dreaming to do a world trip by motorbike.

I was reading and studing on the net how to make my dream come true.

Still I did not know ADVrider forum (unfortunatly)

I started to save all the money I was able.
I was studing and working a few hours here and there.

Started to stop the all money spending (no drinks, no clubs) nothing at all.

I was living with my mother so I had food and place to sleep for free.

On the day I passed the last exam of University on the way back home by bicycle (to save money) I was crying
for happiness as I knew my dream was really becoming real really soon.

The day after I pass the exam I found job.

I was working 7/7 with not stops in different fitness clubs. As my degree is science of sport.

I was doing even 42 km a day (which I guess is something like 23 miles) by bicycle to go to work to save as much money as possible.

Then come the time of bike.

I knew a dual sport bike would be the best for such kind of travel but my mother bought a few years back a Kawasaki er5, a 2 cylinder
    of 500 cc.

She learn how to ride and then she had a broken arm (not due motorbike) and felt a bit scare to use again.

at that time I had a Vor 503 supermotard, which I sold and then I just used my mother bike.

I really did not like that bike and thought was crazy to do a world trip with that bike but then I thought why not ???

So i start to plan how to make it more stronge as I knew i would fell over many time.

So u can see this photos of the working progress I had with the help of my father

We did all in our garage (proud of it)

My mother when she knew i had this crazy idea told me "if this is what u want and dreaming about, just go for it"

My father " do u wanna go to Australia by motorbike ? why dont u take a fu.... airplane and buy a bike there ?"

My father did not support me and still think Im a gypsy :))

Then the X day that for me was 4 April 2011 at 3 am arrived.

In the evening I just hug my mother and both were no able to speak. We just cryed and I left her like this.

After dinner i went down to pack the bike.

Pack everything and then i had a ride to try. At 1 am and i realize the bike was heavy like an elephant. I was no able to turn at all and the rear

sospension was going till the end and the rear wheel was touching the fender.

So decide to take away the huge among of spare motor oil i had and just take 8 liter.

The bike was now better and ready to go.

I call my father by phone and he came at 3 am to say goodbye. The goodbye between man is always easier.

Garage door open, i put the 1 gear and the adventure of life the dream i was waiting for over years started.

here after few days after the start
    [IMG]

I did know the direction was Australia passing trought central asia and that's it.

No vaccin, no sponsor and alone.

here how i look like after a year
    [IMG]

Now after 3 years i can read the future :DDD

    more than 100.000 km, 946 days, 51 countries, 1 wedding, 0 sponsors.

Yes I also got merried during the trip.
I met Lily and we continued togetherturning the trip into a honeymoon.

There is quite a story to be told here! What adventures did this young man meet after he left home on his motorbike? Where did he go? How did romance blossom? Your english is fine. Do not worry about it. The story will lend you the words and the photos will fill in any holes. Looking forward to much, much more of this report!:clap
