While at work I found an abandoned dog. It was left tied up to a park bench.
I have two rescues at home so I can't keep her but as long as I don't have problems at home w/ her, I'll probably keep her for a few days before I drop her off at the local animal shelter. If anyone is interested, please pm me right away. I could probably hold her for a little bit longer if anyone is seriously interested in her but needs to wait till the weekend.

She is a puppy, and will need a lot of work. She doesnt appear to be house broken.
I think she is a pitbull terrier or a pit-mix.

This is about the only pic I have so far.

    Hey Bucho,

I put this post on my fb page to help spread the word. She is cute but not cute-enough to impress my two foundlings...

    Thanks for the help.

The dog went for what is assuming her first motorcycle ride on our way home. I emptied out my courier bag and slung it around my front/lap. I buckled down the top and she had her head out the side. All the way up 270 to Frederick. Seemed pretty calm with it.
She has been pretty good with my two dogs at home. Likes to play.

Hell man, I like dogs... sometimes more than people :lol3
Found our second dog, he was trying to get flattened on MLK, downtown (Bmore) scooped him up. He was 12lbs at the time maybe six months old, stuck him in a saddle bag, apologized, shut the lid and took him to work with me. He's been my shadow since but won't come near a running bike.

I would love to see this cuTpie get adopted.
Butcho has done this before. A great friend to wayward dogs.
    Thanks:thumb

A family of evil military bastards in Key West told the pound she was "too old" at eight and dumped her. No one wants old happy dogs, they seem to prefer to adopt small yappy bitches. Their loss is my delight. Tyimng a dog up and abandoning it makes me hope there is hell after we die. I'd gladly go to share their torment.

I have five rescue dogs right now one is blind but she is doing just great. When they meet me at the door after a hard day and i see how happy they are i dam near cry. $ 2000 so far for eye surgeries for the blind one. she will never see but no more eye infections . a lot of over time to pay for that . But when i go to bed and she has to be under the covers with me it is worth every Penney. there are some good people out there but screw most of them.

Yeah, lack of sight probably doesnt bother dogs too much. As long as they can still smell.

large calm, low energy dogs are great. They are much easier then little yappy excitable dogs. I think people confuse excitement w/ happiness in dogs.

I passed this on to a friend who has a brother who just had a Pit die, and he is passing the link to his brother. They have looked at some shelters but no idea if they have found a replacement yet. Hope it all works out and GOOD ON YOU BUCHO!!! I'll follow up when I hear something.

I sent the dog off to a new home this evening.

Thanks for everyone who made an effort to find a home. If anyone was still interested or had somebody in mind hold on to them for a few days just as a back up in case this doesn't work out, but I'm confident in this one.
