Didn't he commit to LSU? If he changed his mind, it must have been after their last game, where it was pretty evident they need a QB, STAT!
With ADV down yesterday, ya'll missed a chance to help track down some funny shit. So, after the championship game, some dumb LSU fan passed out in a Krystal on Bourbon Street filled with Bama fans. One Bama fan, who is apparently the son of some TV sports dude in Bama almost teabags the LSU fan, but he was stopped by his girlfriend. Another Bama fan follows through with the teabagging. It's all in a video that has gone viral. Cops are looking into the incident. Teabagger was found by Auburn fans and turned over. Teabagger is fired from his job. Apparently Clay Travis of OKTC called Teabagger's mom trying to find him and had to explain to her what a teabag is and that her son did it to someone. http://outkickthecoverage.com/report-auburn-message-boards-have-located-alabama-teabagger.php http://deadspin.com/5876249/an-alab...ly-dead-lsu-fan-at-the-bourbon-street-krystal http://deadspin.com/5876913/alabama...g-video-that-features-station-sports-guys-son
RIP Joe. Legends Never Die. You were a huge part of my decision to go, and helped make my four years ones I will never forget. Class of 09
Yep, all that time and the only thing I will remember is the incompetence to protect the children that were around that program. Rip JoePa

Fuck Craig James. He's an asshole. Loved that he's less popular than Obama in Texas...that says a lot...
Feb 1, 2012 By Pat Dooley / Staff writer The four-star and five-star recruits get most of the publicity on National Signing Day, but one of the keys to developing a program is finding the three-stars who can develop into players. With that in mind, here's an All-Three Star team covering the last 10 years based on Rivals.com recruiting rankings: OFFENSE QB: Sam Bradford, Oklahoma. RB: Ray Rice, Rutgers. RB: Matt Forte, Tulane. WR: Demaryius Thomas, Georgia Tech. WR: Santonio Holmes, Ohio State. WR: Jeff Samardzija, Notre Dame. OL: Nate Solder, Colorado. OL: Ben Jones, Georgia. OL: Ryan Kalil, Southern Cal. OL: Phil Trautwein, Florida. OL: Phil Loadholt, Oklahoma. DEFENSE DL: Tyson Jackson, LSU. DL: Marcel Dareus, Alabama. DL: Nick Fairley, Auburn. DL: Jared Crick, Nebraska. LB: A.J. Hawk, Ohio State. LB: Kelvin Sheppard, LSU. LB: James Laurainitis, Ohio State. DB: Brandon Meriweather, Miami. DB: Javier Arenas, Alabama. DB: Morris Claiborne, LSU. DB: Prince Amukamara, Nebraska.
Gators have a great class overall, but seemed to have trouble finishing strong. We struck out at every announcement ceremony today on espn. I guess I should be thankful for the 3 five stars and small army of four star guys we did sign. If Muschamp can do this every year, we'll be fine. However, the inability to close the deal when the heat is on worries me a little; especially considering the amount of playing time Muschamp could legitimately offer. I also wonder if we signed enough kids. I know the coaching staff was hoping for 30 and fell way short.
As I've said before, I barely follow the whole HS recruiting thing. But how much real world difference is there between a bunch of four star recruits and a bunch of five star recruits? I guess the aggregate may be a bit better, but as I'm sure you know there are plenty of five stars that don't pan out, and a fair number of "lesser stars" that turn out to be true stars.
When you read the ratings, they're talking about god given genetic traits as often as they are a players skill. That's why you see ATH next to a lot of players.
Glad to see this. Many Big10 schools are doing the same- http://mobile.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/2012/2/1/2764615/florida-recruiting-2012-scholarships
Indeed. One stat from this years recruiting class that really makes me happy, though is that Mizzou signed 6 of the top 10 recruits out of Misouri.
