"Wet day" road conditions and sudden nightfall is a bad combination, add completely wrong tires and emergency camping alongside the "road" is the only possible solution. We did manage 120 kms of this that day though.

This Sunday at 6:15am, the morning of the CCC of VT Johnson Dual Sport.
This was my first time camping on the bike, with brand new tent and sleeping bag.

Life is good when this is the view when you stumble out of your tent in the morning... North Rim, Grand Canyon; one of my favorite places in the world.
