I would love to see what old enduro's you have kickin around! I'm a sucker for 2-strokes, and I am really, sincerely hoping that someone has a Hodaka on this forum! Here's mine at the lake! 1974 Honda MT125
here's my 78 dt400 that I fixed up and sold off last year. It was a pretty fun bike now that I look back on it
My '73 Yamaha 125. This is the bike I wanted when I was fourteen, way back when. Of course, dad said no. In 2000, when I was forty, I finally got one. My fifteen year-old daughter rides it now.
I had a Orange Gemini 80 back in the early 70's. My first bike, needed $700 for an XR75 and only had $300, hence the Gem. What a PoS, anyone got a pic of one? Thanks in Advance
Here's a Hodaka. 1977(?) 250SL. I bought it along with a seized up 250ED. Put the better parts of the two together and it runs well. It has been christened the 250SLED! Lots of fun and bulletproof. Probably not the Hodaka you were looking for, but a Hodaka nonetheless.
Love the old DT Yamaha's, never owned one but lusted after them when I was in high school. And, totally cool to see people actually travelling on them!
My first bike was a 1974 Yamaha DT125A. Bought it when I was in high school for $200, and spent another $100 putting all of the street items back on (mirrors, turn signals). Man I loved that bike, the 74's had electric start. When I bought it, we lived behind my high school. I'd still ride it the 1/4 mile just so I could park with the rest of the bikes. Hated to sell it, but I was going into the CG, and couldn't leave it to my parents to deal with. Been looking the last few years for one. Would really love to have another.
My mother bike was a Bridgestone 90. I don't even remember if it was actually a dual sport but we made it one . I rode the piss out of that thing, I'd love to see a pic of one. Anyone?
That was the first bike I ever owned. Bought it in about 1978 with paper route money. Put knobbie tires and a motocross front fender on it and proceeded to try to maim and/or kill myself on it. Good times!
Here is my latest project I have several more that i am working on, 1969 AT1-M, 1971 DT1-E, 1970 AT1-B, pic's to come
