Just received a Garmin 78 - Do I need to purchase City Navigator maps?

    I just picked up a Garmin 78 for when on the bike. I only do road riding but wanted something rugged, with physical buttons, and that can run on batteries. I see that you can set the routing for automotive but if I am going to be using this as an around town, pavement riding GPS, should I purchase the City Navigator package? I am guessing so but since it's not exactly cheap, I figured I'd check first.

    Yes, it's worth getting but you can often find it for $75 or so. Hardly expensive IMHO.
