Thx, Jim. Bumot just sent over some pics of their new luggage system for the 1200GS. Customers can now choose between boxes with or without a muffler cutout. This new system will be available after the 1st of the year. I'll have more pics, specs & pricing on the website soon, but here's a couple of pics of the boxes with the muffler cutout.

    The bags look real solid.
Please show pictures of the mounting system and how it attaches to the bike.

    Thanks

Here ya go, Don. This is the only pic I have of the mount right now. Bumot is sending me a compete setup, including top box & mount, pretty soon. I'll get more pics when I get them installed. Mounts look to be well built.

Bumot doesn't offer the complete setup for the Tenere just yet. Here is a pic of my Tenere with the 45 liter bags attached to Hepco Becker mounts.

Looks like the racks are asymmetrical allowing for both sides to be 45 litre.
How much money you have in the setup?

Sorry for the dealy, Crankymind. That system runs $1025.00. We also can set you up with just the boxes, in your choice of 35, 40 or 45 liter sizes, at $585.00 if you already have mounts.

The system price does include the mounts. Bumot offers a 41 liter top box. They are sending me a complete setup for the BMW 1200GS, including the new bags with the muffler cutout & top box. Tracking says I should have it early next week. I'll have pics & pricing up as soon as I can get pics.

XplorerMoto has just received Bumot Luggage newest system for the BMW 1200GS. This new system uses 45 liter boxes incorporating a muffler cutout for an overall width of 37". The complete system, including top box, comes in just 4 boxes
    [IMG]
Everything is well packaged using plenty of bubble wrap to protect against shipping damage

Another pic of all the boxes unpacked. These boxes are really put together nicely.

I will install everything tomorrow & get pics of the mounts with & without the boxes attached. Contact XplorerMoto for info regarding this system or any of the Bumot Luggage products.

OK, got everything installed today. Very straight forward, simple installation. About 30 minutes on the pannier mounts & less on the top box rack. Shot some quick pics to get them posted today.
The complete system. I really like how the top box sets close to the bike.

Here are a couple more pics showing different views of the boxes. Here's the inside of the 45 liter box. The 2 large disc are for attaching & releasing the boxes from the mount & are knurled for a positive grip.

This is the back of the 45 liter bag showing the 4 mount points. The block at the top left of the bag is in the unlocked position & the top right is in the locked position.

Here's inside of the top box with a large Shoei Hornet helmet for comparison.
