Mutt is definately the way to go. Just look at mine. Mine is a junkyard dog. Getting rid of the fairing and head light alone will shed nearly 15 kgs of weight and you won't have to keep repairing the fairing bracket that bolts to the headstem. If you don't do much night riding then an old single H4 headlight is perfect. 3legs

Is that your Ute in the background of the picture of the Harley rig? Looks pretty nice, is it a 56? I didn't know how far back they went, I think the first El Camino here in the US was 59 or 60.

I thought it was a Holden, the front end looks like a 55 or 56 Chevy, I think they may have sent the dies to Holden after they were done with production in the US. (I worked for GM for 30 years but don't know Holden's history very well.) That would be a pretty unique classic car over here no matter what condition its in.
Put the winch on. Trust me you will need it when you get bogged. K's are bloody heavy and a pain in the arse to get unbogged (ask the lads who helped me get unstuck on the way to Lorella Springs). Plus I'm a big believer in if you have it you won't need it. Since I've put mine on I have not needed to use it (touch wood). It's also a good conversation starter.
