Your funny. I just bought a new house last fall. Have you seen how much progress I have made on my BSA this winter..Ummm yea.... like zilch. That house has sucked every spare second of my time away. But good luck with it
Hell I didn't just buy a house. Just means I won't have to pay for the GP subscription next year. Awesome. BSA looks great man, Been keeping tabs on you.
Anyone know the bearing 1/2 circlip placements? I wasn't on the lookout for these things when I disassembled, and I want to make sure I'm not leaving any out. Right now I have 2 on the crank, both on the lower case half, and on the rear shaft of the trans, I have one on each side of the lower case. Is there supposed to be 2 on each of these spots? Anything fixed to the upper case half? getting there.
No I stayed away from the bearing surfaces when I was blasting. Probably got hit a little but not directly.
Ha thanks man. I disremember how I figured that out but I did. Motor is assembled pretty much. Got the barrels bored and installed with the heads. Got my gasket kit sitting on the bench. Just need time. I've been working 3 jobs all summer and just found out I landed this teaching gig 2 days ago - with school starting in less than 2 weeks I'm not sure how much I'll be getting accomplished. Side note: the heads are universal, right? I mean left/right doesn't matter? What's left? Rebuild the brakes and I should be dtf.
Ah shit. Just realized I'm due for some points! Page 1, section 2, clause 2: New Parts Motor Top End = 100 points Motor Bottom End = 100 points There's a fresh crank and seals, piston/rings/hone. +200
Points claim on the tax rule. Used parts earn 1 point for every dollar under $100. Scored these clip-ons for $50 Bloodweiser = 375 Bulletproof = 100
what you don't see are some cut frame tabs. I cut off the frame hinges and the seat lock. after discussing with bulletproof, I get 40 points for the hinges, and another 40 for the seat lock. Bloodweiser Total = 455
