G'day Gunna, yeah mate the sun ,earth in the middle and the moon. Getting darker here, not sure how long it takes, been keeping an eye on it since 8.00 and seems to be a slow process. Nice pic KLEarner.

For Australians and New Zealanders this will be a well-placed partial lunar eclipse, with the partial stages becoming visible starting around 8pm AEST with maximum eclipse at around 9pm AEST, but will change depending on your timezone. Check the table below for timings in a city near you.
The partial phase lasts approximately 2 hours.
Use the table below to find the city closest to you, which shows the timings for the various phases of the Eclipse. The times are given in local time for that city. The altitude of the moon at that phase is shown, and if it's in red, it means it's below the horizon and that phase will not be visible in that city. You should generally look at the times for the start of partial eclipse before you start seeing noticeable changes in the Moon. eg: approx 8pm AEST for Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
