Is anyone else irritated that the front turn signals break every time the bike goes down? They are hanging way out there. Any suggestions? Can you mount the shorter rear turn indicators on the front? :huh

I found the Touratech signals but they look radically different.

Oh and yes, for the clowns in the audience, I have thought about not dropping the bike. But alas it happens.:rofl

    Any help appreciated.

For my 07 12GS I bought a pr. of rear turn signal stalks and put them on the front. They're shorter! I've never scratched a front turn signal.

    How did you know? :evil

BTW, my experience is that the OEM stalks on the GS pop apart, rather than break. I was able to put them together so far. Knock on wood...

I got some short stems from Metal Mule, they make front and rears, they seem to keep them tucked in nicely and look original.

I guess I haven't dropped mine enough. The first few times nothing has broken.

One of the guys around here has the LED lights from the HP2 on his GS. Shorter and look good too.

You can always try to get your hands on some OEM European speck front indicator stalks. They're shorter.

Hey, the center section of the stalk can be removed and the two outer pieces reassembled! Nothing to buy!
