Can you imagine how much fun that would be with a set of paddle tires in the sand dunes!!! :lol3

    Anyone have any ?? :hide

Sorry, couldn't resist......but seriously, anyone heard any rumours as to what KTM plans to make for their upcoming quads, and what do you think the chances are they'll mount up an LC8 to one ? I think that would set the bar for the displacement/horsepower wars for sometime.

    Yea.

That would be one bad ass quad. I'd have to have one, it would rival the Yamaha Banshee 350 twin 2~stroke. I'd like to see KTM throw in the 300cc 2~stroke:D

    Do you mean this one?
I've seen it in the flesh and it's really mean. It should be mean to drive too, since 100 hp and no diff will make cornering... challenging.

That is fast just looking at it, thanks for posting. All it needs now is a set of paddle tires for the dunes:ricky

Have a friend who races in south america for a KTM dealer, the quad has a 525 engine & a hand made frame a guy out of ohio & suspension from mars. They can be purchased for a mere $22,000 dollars.

owning both a ktm EXC520 and a yamaha raptor atv, I was pleased to see ktm come out with there 525atv. it would be a blast on our states(michigan) atv trails. that thing on the other hand, would be useless anywhere but on the dunes or in the desert. if I had that money to blow I would buy two of something else

Looks street-legal. That would be one obvious advantage over an ATV.
