After our successful Oso Loco Ride last summer, the Osos wanted to ride together again.

It didn’'t take long to decide on Baja.

We had a great ride last year on The Baja Wan-Thousand, but this time I wanted to do some trails I hadn’'t had a chance to do yet.
They were going to be single track and deep sand and still others would be extremely rocky.
Because of these conditions I thought it would be better to do it solo - that meant, LittleWan would be staying home. :cry
She was not happy with me. Actually, I was sleeping with one eye open.
Unfortunately for you, the reader, LittleWan did stay home so you are going to be stuck with me, trying to muddle my way through a ride report.
On the plus side there won't be any Mameshiba.:rofl

We were looking for a ride that would be difficult for big bikes. As luck would have it Moto Vaquero did a RR last spring that fit the bill perfectly.
His 21 Days Exploring Baja report had single track, sand and just the right amount of rocks. Best of all he posted his tracks for all to use.
    Gracias, Sancho - can'’t thank you enough.:freaky

What had me excited was most of these trails would be new.
Moto Vaquero gave strong and wise warnings that most of the trails were not suitable for big bikes.
    Perfect!:evil

We had 13 riding days to fill with the best riding we could.

Very interested to see how you guys handle the technical sections of Window Rock on those bikes. This will be interesting!

I don't think Bill Nichols had those bikes in mind when he cut it.

Matt, I wasn't sure if you were going to buy me a beer or punch me in the nose after you got back from this ride :D.

You guys are studs taking big bikes on some of this stuff:lift.

Subscribed! Feel free to leave out the mamasheiba, but don't short us on the Ron Swanson Parks and Rec references! :rofl (your ride reports are the single reason my wife and I watched all 5 seasons on Netflix this past winter!

All I did since I got back was looking at pics and watching videos from the Baja trip. Can't believe it's all over.....such an amazing ride Osos.
Thanks Matt again for having me and putting it together. I can only imagine how time consuming this report will be but it keeps the ride alive in our minds....so GO OSO GO :freaky
