My New '88 R100GS, 3rd owner, Last Gent had her 20 years averaged 300mi a year. Had @ 12k on the clock when purchased. Bags, the real seat and all the goodies came with her. Solo saddle and bagage porter were added after a cleanup and going through the mechanicals.. It's gonna be another long term relationship..
Facing off with Brother's bike before he upgraded to a R100GS: Pizza Delivery Mode: The sad, sad day when you run out of gas and have to be saved by a "four-wheeler"... And my favorite GS pic so far:
Neat pic, RD-- pretty burned out section of woods there? tell me you did some color tweaking to it? Oh man dont even get me started on PD pics...
Here is my ugly duckling. I cropped my other bike out, sorry for the crappy photo. 1993 colors/graphics at their worst. 100% stock 34K miles. She is retired, no more heavy lifting, summer evening ice cream runs only.
You are clearly in love with your r100gs. So stop with this brainless idea of selling it already. Indeed, If I see it advertised again I hope it's because you must do so to finance a heart transplant. At least we can be sure then your brain is functioning fine. Here is an old one of mine. It also had 95,000km. Mind you it also had 220,000km, later on.
Too funny mate, that made my morning at work to see your comment Yes you are correct, I do love these bikes and as such have now removed it from the Flea Market Nice bike by the way, I hope the bloke riding the RT wasn't too harsh on you !!
