Hey, I know some of you guys are super whizzes on finding things...I'm trying to find the best deal on a leftover '06 somewhere east of Texas (Dallas, TX included!). I'm in Nashville, so I'm willing to drive/fly if necessary. I've talked to a few dealers, and they're wanting close to $12K...I'd rather that be closer to $11K! Preference order is Orange, Black, then the Blue "S". Thanks a bunch! :clap

I think Curtis at Cycle Town South below Dallas has at least one. 972 230 1870 $11,800 WAS the going rate but they're getting thin on the ground.

I spoke with the owner of my local dealer, and he told me the KTM rep. said that they still had some in the wharehouse! Check your local dealer!

Rock Springs, WY to be specific. Cycletrader shows an '06 up there for $12399, but when I called, they said $12,099; yes, that's right...$12,099. I ALMOST booked my ticket, but decided on the lower orange regular model for $11,300, and 1200 miles closer. Picking it up next Friday. Hope this helps!

BTW, appreciate the feedback from you guys; it really helped me. Thanks!

Congrats! I am trying to get into one myself. I have a few standards and Ss to choose from last time I checked, we will see if they are still there in a few weeks when I am ready to buy.

Check with Smith Power Sports in Hayesville, NC at 828/389-6009 and ask to speak with Charles Smith. When I ordered my new black 06 950 a week or so ago he could still get all three models. I bet he could get you in one at or around 11K.....

My dealer told me that the 06 leftovers in the KTM wharehouse would cost someone $12,100! Either my dealer is screwing everyone or the other dealers are giving there bikes away for the prices I have been seeing everyone post!

$12,100 good or $12,100 bad? The two S's I can find left in the state, not including tax, Out The Door, are $13,897.50 and $13,473.69. :huh

Expensive? Yes. Worth it? I'm not sure.

From what I have been reading, $12,100 sounds high! All the other posts I have seen, have mentioned prices around $11,000!

Is that $12,100 out the door?

Or is it $12,100 plus uncrating, setup, handling, doc fees, and tax?

The two S's I mentioned, the dealers won't budge from the two posted prices. I am wondering if I should wait for an '07...
