Alright folks.... time to speak of eats. I'll get there Thursday, and was thinking about some grilled, beer boiled brats with onions and bell peppers. That way the beer will be cooled off enough for a klr rider to drink by Friday Vic, If Phil is coming do you think we can talk him into some of that tasty trashcan chicken? :dg Also, a chicken scented trashcan will drive KLR riders MAD If there is enough interest I could do another low country/seafood boil
I am an idiot and don't pay attention the FAMILY stuff. Phil and I will NOT be there. Phils wife is preforming in production Les Mes on Saturday night. Family attendance required. Sorry to miss out. We may ride over Friday or Saturday morning and say hello..
Buzz needs eat details for numbers. Bruddah Buzz, my most recent knowledge is that Inpet, Rob, Perz and I are leaving Fri AM. Barring FUBAR we'll be there late afternoon/early eve well before dusk. I speak for myself and maybe Inept that rigging hammocks and drinking beer and hollering around the fire will be the order of the night when we hit camp Fri eve. I'll have snack nosh and beans and kippers in the bag, and oats etc for Sat brekkie. I'm not expecting a big meal spread, bro. I know Tony, Rob and I are also leaving Sat AM on return leg. If the group wants to hit Fam Coastal for early lunch, 100% cool. But we 3 want to hit Pcola before dark Sat eve Hope this helps w planning MRP
I still want the oysters and am willing to do whatever. I should get there around the same time as West, Zoid et al. for what it's worth. Also IWBALBAI.
We've got company coming to The Swamp that WE I do appreciate the PMs in regards to my attending I believe Eeickey is coming sometime around then Anyway, HoJo informed me this WE that we've got a full sched this month already I've got to drop Hailey off near where my MC mechanic lives Friday And I'm going to go by and sched him to work on my Baghira As y'all know I've been taking it easy quite more than what I'd like In regards to offroading Now that my industrial property has finally sold I've been able to catch up on some things which have gone neglected Primarily tens of thousand of dollars in back taxes that I owed on numerous properties that I now wish were sold too Along with my enduro I've got a couple of boats that are in dire need of some attention As this is running a bit long now... I won't be riding with y'all anytime soon Gonna try and be ready for sure Biketoberfest though Maybe by then I'll have some medical insurance From watching this group ride I can see just how lucky I've been not to have never fooked myself up... Physically anyway <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
DAMN, Y'all are going to be missed- and talked about. Trails are nice right now. I know because I just checked some with the dually
Well since youre letting something as small as a kid get in your way of this one I'd say probably not. If I do the maff she'll only be about five months along with her next one in Dec
If its any consolation, i'm bailing on the Southern Truck Shootout in October also. By Dec and Feb i'll need an escape.
I was planning to have the dually into the 1000+ ft/lbs by then and letting you make a coupla passes in it then
I will have no truck. Ambitious plan is to arrive early enough to ride over with company. Failing that I can just slab that mother. Part of my ambitious plan counts on the other parties using MWT which would buy me another couple of hours. I have almost zero sense of the geography of the area so until I put it all into the maps I can't quite fathom the distances required to hook up before or after Eglin. Also if someone could send the coordinates of where the toilet will ultimately be that would be awesome.
