it's officially unofficial! Press release soon, but the world round is coming to the Trials Training Center in TN, memorial day weekend of 2013. More news to come,
Wouldn't work. One bribe of a Montesa jersey and he's clean for the day in my section no matter what happens. Raga on the other hand.........
Typical two ton tessa rider... Raga showed them all how to do it you know, & at one time even Bou, wanted to be like Raga... Just sayin.
World Round Work Day & Winter Series Round 3: By Ashley Jackson, on January 11th, 2013 Hey Everybody, hope the Holidays and New Year were all a blast! Now the new year has begun and so has the work load. We have many exciting events coming up this year. One of these events is the 2013 Wagner Cup FIM Trial World Championship. We will be scheduling a few work weekends between now and Memorial Day Weekend (in May) and would love for some of you to come out and give us a hand if you can. So below is some information on our first scheduled Work Weekend. This will actually be more like a work and play weekend, because we will also have a one day event the Sunday after! World Round Work Weekend: Just giving a heads up to let you all know, the next World Round work weekend had been scheduled! We will meet on January 26th at 9 am Central Time and will meet at the Green Shop at the TTC. If you cant make it at 9 just come when you can and we will leave a note on the door to where we will be. Come prepared for a day in the woods, we will be cutting trail, and helping Charlie with what ever he needs us to do! Bring your bike, or side by side and maybe some clippers and lets get busy! Then stick around for Sunday to ride the event!
Ticket and Camping info to be available soon per the website http://trialsusgp.com/ Is anybody else planning on on attending?
Debating on whether to plan on camping or not, but I am pretty sure I and another will be going down to check it out. If anybody went to the 2008 event feel free to chime in and pass on hot setup tips
I was their in 08, but stayed in a motel if I recall it wasn't to hot. We run into a hell of a storm on the ride home.
We've just booked hotel and bought tickets. Other than wearing good hiking shoes and dressing for the weather, whats the best way to enjoy?? I wondered about carrying a little chair, is the food ok or bring in our own, is beer available or is it Ok to bring in a few cans? Are there vendors on site ( looking for boots) ? parking/ drive advice? Thanks for any tips.
I would plan on taking care of yourself. Also buy your beer on friday or saturday as some places sunday sales are not allowed. I`d bring a cooler with food and beverages, if you find something else great. Just don`t show up empty handed.
I went in 06 and 08, the food venders didn't have much selection they had beer but I didn't drink because didn't want to hike out to piss all the time. The terrain is rough I would wear good shoes or boot alot of walking, I wouldn't take a chair because you will be moving from section to section. At the end off the day you will be tired and amazed that the riders can do this for 7 hours or so each day. I'll see you there!!!
